Welcome to Birchington Baptist Church
We're so pleased you have found us. You're very welcome.
Maybe you are visiting this beautiful part of Kent for a holiday, or you may be blessed to live here - however you have found us, you are very welcome to join us for worship. Or why not drop into our Open Door or Coffee Bean for a cuppa and a chat.
Coming to church, or even visiting a new church, can sometimes be a bit confusing; so please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you would like to know.
There has been a Baptist Church in Crescent Road since the 1920’s, so we are very much a part of Birchington village, seeking to serve this community in Jesus name. We also meet in a building in Station Road. (See 'A bit of history' for more of the story)
Some of us are ‘locals’, others hail from all around the UK and the wider world. Some have grown up in Baptist churches; some are from other Christian traditions, and some have found faith in Jesus with no prior experience of church.
So once again...you're very welcome!
What goes on at BBC

Of course worship doesn't just happen on a Sunday, but it is a focus for our life together with God.
From a room full of toddlers - to a cuppa and cake - welcome to the family!
We love to host different events here at the BBC! There is always something going on for all.
